- Conceptualize your commitment. What ongoing or upcoming actions will you take to promote sustainable oceans? Can you meet the SMART commitment checklist?
- Register or Login using the OOC online commitments platform: OOC Platform
- Click on the Create button. Your commitment is now created and has been assigned to the Draft status. Fill in the form. Title, theme, progress, longitude and latitude are mandatory fields. You can select a point on the map to set the location. Use the abstract field to outline your goals and upcoming activities. Use the impact field to share concrete progress updates and outcomes that have been achieved.
- Select the Submit button. You can add a comment at this point with additional information. Your commitment is now submitted for approval by the host. It has been assigned the Submitted status.
- Your commitment is now with the OOC host. When it is approved you will be notified by email and the status will change to Approved. If your commitment is missing information and needs to be updated, it will be assigned a Change Request status. You will need to login, update your commitment and resubmit. Approved commitments are hosted privately in the OOC tracker. After the conference event all approved commitments will be Published and made public. They will also be included in the host’s conference outcome report.
